They register the XP v 10 wmp.dll on a Vista system, which is hideous. You pretty much need to reinstall Vista to fix that up. Your solution would just get (Satellite Tv or whatever) installs a x86 version of media player and directs all you shortcuts to there instead of to the 64 bit program files folder.
