I have this same problem when I had a PC with windows XP and MSN Messenger, and now again with a new PC (of one week) Running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and Windows Live It just doesn't work for me I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, puting another time frame, deframenting etc but it just dont seem to work.

Unless it is OEM, ie supplied with a new PC. OEM versions are either 32 bit or 64 bit.
